SUMMARY: Maintains the function and appearance of the facility, oversees the building grounds, and assures facility readiness for a smooth operation of events.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a variety of grounds maintenance tasks including edging, mowing, trimming, waste and litter removal, fertilizing, laying sod and raking. Spreads seed, plants foliage and shrubbery, aerates sports fields, lawns and soils, trims and maintains landscape. Drags and spikes clay infields (when/where appropriate).
  • Performs custodial tasks to include emptying and cleaning waste receptacles; washing windows; dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning vents, air filters, fans, walls; changing light bulbs, cleaning restrooms and locker rooms.
  • Performs physically demanding tasks requiring use of heavy grounds keeping, maintenance and/or custodial equipment.

  • Performs minor maintenance and repairs on facilities, structures, equipment, sidewalks, drainage and other County property in one or more of the skilled and semi-skilled disciplines including plumbing, masonry, carpentry, flooring and irrigation,

  • May utilize a wide variety of manual, gas and electric powered hand tools, to include a hammer, shovel, rake, screw drivers, wrenches, digging bar, chainsaw, chemical sprayer leaf blowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers and edger.
  • Maintains buildings and equipment by keeping it clean and in a safe working order by emptying and cleaning waste receptacles, cleaning vents, fans and walls; clean equipment and tools after use and maintain cleanliness and order in storage areas.
  • Painting of facility fields, buildings -- both exterior and interior, doors, etc., as needed
  • Event set-up and changeover to include moving, arranging, assembly and disassembly, setting and removal of items needed;
  • Participates in work-site safety set-up - preps work areas; sets barricades and cones; conducts traffic control in accordance with uniform work zone safety standards; flag traffic.
  • Responds to emergency situations in order to confine, resolve or prevent injurious or otherwise hazardous conditions due to fallen debris, spills, broken windows, broken locks, etc.
  • Organizes and maintains an inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
  • Reports equipment malfunctions and facility maintenance needs to immediate supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or necessary.

SUMMARY

The engineer is responsible for all aspects of facility maintenance and event setup and teardown. All facility equipment including audio and visual, plumbing and electrical plants; lighting and climate control systems; roofing systems; telecommunications, food service and maintenance/cleaning equipment is operating properly and efficiently and maintained in good condition. Provide general facility maintenance and proper delivery of event-related utility services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with proper and efficient operation of the facilities Building Management System (BMS).
  • Provides technical support, oversees and/or assists with repairs and maintenance of all facility systems and equipment.
  • Help ensure all equipment is maintained according to factory specifications and appropriate PM information is entered into ASM Altum Maintenance Program.
  • Proper utilization of the Work Order and ASM Maintenance Manager systems.
  • Adherence to OSHA, NFPA and other applicable safety codes.
  • Analyzes needs and plan preventive maintenance programs and upgrades for systems.
  • Monitors repair activity to minimum downtown and disruption to facility event activity.
  • Setup and teardown event-related services, phone and internet, power, A/V, and lighting.

Osceola Heritage Park, a 150-acre complex, is home to the 11,000 capacity Silver Spurs Arena; 90,000 square foot Exhibition Building; Osceola County Stadium; Kissimmee Valley Livestock Building and the University of Florida Extension Services Office. Osceola Heritage Park provides a venue for events including concerts, family shows, sporting events, and trade shows.

The accountant's primary responsibilities include the following functions in accordance with

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and enter Journal Entries.
  • Maintain, reconcile, and analyze general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare accounts receivable invoices or post receipts.
  • Track deposits made for events.
  • Review event estimates or draft invoices prepared by event managers or F&B managers.
  • Review revenue reports from outside contractors.
  • Review event reports which may include food & beverage cost reports and POS reports.
  • Reconcile box office transactions and related bank activity.
  • Assist with capital assets and the annual inventory. Track assigned asset tags. Coordinate proper disposition of assets as needed following established procedures.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules.

 SUMMARY: Coordinate and manage events at Osceola Heritage Park.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Meets with client groups to plan and organize assigned meetings and/or events.
  • Coordinates activities with the various service contractors and vendors for assigned meetings and/or events.

- Coordinates/Assists in all outside services and equipment required for events

- Works in conjunction with Food & Beverage in meeting and determining client needs

  • Keeps clients informed as to status of deadline schedules, including but not limited to floor plan submissions, meeting room set-up specifications, insurance requirements, and other relevant details.

- Reviews floor plans and determines requirements

- Develops and designs floor layouts on Meeting Matrix as needed

  • Writes event work orders, contractual obligations related to insurance, deposits, etc.
  • Maintain accurate records or pre-event planning, client request, billable charges, service orders, contractual requirements, etc.
  • Prepares cost estimates and monitors final billing

  • Attends appropriate planning, organization, and other event and facility meetings in support of facility operations.

Position Summary:  Working as Operations Supervisor, the position will play a key role in delivering first class service in the industry of entertainment and conventions.  The position will supervise an operational team that is responsible for assuring facility readiness and event operations.  In addition, the supervisor will assist with maintaining the function and appearance of facilities, equipment, and janitorial supplies. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and analyze event work orders to meet service needs of each event.  Plan, direct, and execute effective workflow in a timely safe manner. Inspect event schematics to ensure proper set up and safety.
  • Trains and supervises operational staff and changeover crew that consist of full-time employees and third-party service providers. Appraises work performance; rewards and disciplines employees; addresses complaints and resolves conflicts.
  • Coordinates efficient and safe delivery/removal of waste dumpsters.
  • Organize and maintain tools/equipment such as lifts, floor scrubbers, carts, and stagging gear
  • Order all necessary supplies and materials by keeping track of inventory.

Summary

The cashier will sell menu items at the concession stand, control waste and provide good customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow all policies and procedures of ASM Global;
  • Assist in the setup of the stand prior to event, (cooking pretzels, making hotdogs, etc.);
  • Verify starting bank with money manager and handle money in accordance with cashier money handling policy;
  • Keep track of all voids and over rings;
  • Take orders from customers; Check ID for alcohol sales and enforce alcohol policy;
  • Assist with keeping an accurate inventory count;
  • Balance revenue sheet after each event;

* Dispenses tickets requested by patrons; accepts payment and makes changes accurately.
* Handles Will Call window according to Box Office procedures.
* Accurately balances cash drawer at the end of each shift.
* Files various records and reports.
* Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
6--12 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Box office or guest services background preferred

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
* Excellent customer service and public relations.
* Excellent communication, reading, writing, comprehension and organization skills.
* Cash handling experience.
* Computer experience including data entry.
* Computerized ticketing experience is preferred.
* Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
* Availability to work evenings, weekend hours and possibly holidays.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to move about, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time;
Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required by event;
Ability to withstand high noise levels during concerts and other events;
Ability to work extended hours, flexible hours, nights, weekends and holidays, based on event schedule;
