Job Description:

SUMMARY: Maintains the function and appearance of the facility, oversees the building grounds, and assures facility readiness for a smooth operation of events.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a variety of grounds maintenance tasks to include edging, mowing, trimming, waste and litter removal, fertilizing, laying sod, and raking. Spreads seed, plants foliage and shrubbery, aerates sports fields, lawns, and soils, trims and maintains landscape. Drags and spikes clay infields (when/where appropriate).
  • Performs custodial tasks to include emptying and cleaning waste receptacles; washing windows; dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning vents, air filters, fans, walls; changing light bulbs, cleaning restrooms and locker rooms.
  • Performs physically demanding tasks requiring the use of heavy grounds keeping, maintenance, and/or custodial equipment.
  • Performs general maintenance and upkeep of tools, equipment, and machinery to include lubricates, services, and fuels; performs routine light maintenance and repairs; cleans and maintains a safe operation.
  • Performs minor maintenance and repairs on facilities, structures, equipment, sidewalks, drainage, and other County property in one or more of the skilled and semi-skilled disciplines to include plumbing, masonry, carpentry, flooring, and irrigation,
  • Operates lawn care equipment to include manual and riding lawn mowers, sports turf mowers, sand pros and tractors, sod cutters, trucks, weed-eaters, trimmers, edger, and blower.
  • Operates and maintains irrigation and drainage systems.
  • May utilize a wide variety of manual, gas, and electric powered hand tools, including a hammer, shovel, rake, screwdrivers, wrenches, digging bar, chainsaw, chemical sprayer leaf blowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and edger.
  • Maintains buildings and equipment by keeping it clean and in safe working order by emptying and cleaning waste receptacles, cleaning vents, fans, and walls; clean equipment and tools after use and maintains cleanliness and order in storage areas.
  • Painting of facility fields, buildings -- both exterior and interior, doors, etc., as needed
  • Event set-up and changeover to include moving, arranging, assembly and disassembly, setting and removal of items needed;
  • Participates in work-site safety set-up - preps work areas; sets barricades and cones; conducts traffic control in accordance with uniform work zone safety standards; flag traffic.
  • Responds to emergency situations in order to confine, resolve, or prevent injurious or otherwise hazardous conditions due to fallen debris, spills, broken windows, broken locks, etc.
  • Organizes and maintains an inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
  • Reports equipment malfunctions and facility maintenance needs to immediate supervisor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or necessary.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Two (2) years' experience in facility maintenance or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
  • Valid Florida Driver's license;

  • Fork Lift Certification or ability to acquire certification within 90 days of hire;
  • Fluent in English including speaking and writing;
  • Excellent communication skills and a good working relationships with departmental personnel, supervisors, and the general public;

PAYROLL AND ACCOUNTS PAYABLE COORDINATOR

POSITION: Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator

LOCATION: Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, FL

REPORTS TO: Senior Accounting Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator at Osceola Heritage Park. The Payroll and Accounts Payable Coordinator processes payroll for all employees in compliance with state and federal wage and hour requirements and ASM Global's policies. The position also handles all aspects of the Accounts Payable Function.

Osceola Heritage Park includes the Silver Spurs Arena, an Events Center, the Osceola County Stadium, Orlando City Training Complex, all housed on a 200 acre campus. Osceola Heritage Park hosts sporting events, festivals, rodeos, concerts, family shows, trade shows, and more.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Process facility payroll using ADP payroll software.
  • Process payroll adjustments
  • Prepare manual payroll checks when required, maintain check log and post to ADP.
  • Assist with employment and payroll verifications upon request.
  • Processes accounts payable.
  • Maintain file of purchase orders and match to invoices.
  • Review invoices and code them to appropriate general ledger accounts.
  • Input invoices into Sage Accounting Software.
  • Prepare checks.
  • Prepare 1099s.
  • Fill out credit applications upon request.
  • Post all receipts for events, food & beverage, box office, sponsorships, etc into Peachtree.
  • Assist with payroll and accrued liability journal entries.
  • Other duties may be assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in payroll processing preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with Accounts Payable preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent data entry and math skills
  • Ability to function both independently and as a team member
  • Ability to meet specific deadlines and successfully work under pressure, with close attention to detail
  • Must be able to prioritize schedules, and follow instructions.
  • Experience with Excel is preferred.

CASHIER (Part-Time)

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Cashier on a part-time on-call basis for ASM Global/Osceola Heritage Park. The cashier will sell menu items at the concession stand, control waste and provide good customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow all policies and procedures of ASM Global;
  • Assist in the setup of the stand prior to event, (cooking pretzels, making hotdogs, etc.);
  • Verify starting bank with money manager and handle money in accordance with cashier money handling policy;
  • Keep track of all voids and over rings;
  • Take orders from customers; Check ID for alcohol sales and enforce alcohol policy;
  • Assist with keeping an accurate inventory count;
  • Balance revenue sheet after each event;
  • Help with post event break down, (cleaning, putting stock away, etc.);
  • Other duties as assigned;

SUMMARY

Provides support to the F&B Dept. by maintaining inventory levels and stocking stands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

Prepare product requisition forms for deliveries and transfers;

Help receive deliveries;

Able to use stock sheets;

Assist with keeping accurate inventory records;

Assist in pre-event set-up and post event breakdown;

Transfer product before, during, and after events;

Follow all policies and procedures of SMG including adhering to uniform policy;

Other duties as assigned;

QUALIFICATIONS

Wait Staff will work both Banquet and Restaurant Functions within the Catering Department to include, Suite Attendant, Reception Events, Cart Service and any other function serving food and beverage items.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AMD RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Required to read, understand and continually follow the Savor Catering/Osceola Banquet Training Guide
  • Obtain Safe Staff training within 90 days of employmen
  •  Fulfill the service per each Banquet Event Order (BEO) 
  • Assist with set up and organization of catered event
  • Serve food and beverage at events while providing excellent customer service
  • Must be able to adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures of the company including alcohol and uniform policy
  • Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must
  • Assist with break down and cleanup of catered event
  • Maintain all Banquet equipment cleanliness
  • Hands-on with all aspects of the Banquet Server duties

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  •  High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in the food service industry
  • One plus years of wait staff experience

The Cook II will work in the main kitchen, catering and concessions preparing food items for the facility.

  • Prepare recipes as directed;
  • Maintain clean safe working environment;
  • Inspect all kitchen equipment for cleanliness and annual maintenance;
