COOK I

LOCATION: Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, FL

DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage/Kitchen

REPORTS TO: Executive Sous chef

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Summary: ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Cook I on a part-time on-call basis for ASM Global/Osceola Heritage Park. The Cook I will work in the main kitchen, catering and concessions, preparing food items for the facility and lead the Culinary Operations including off premises locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with leadership and execute/maintain the required production;
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the entire Culinary Operation;
  • Ability to promote a team player environment;
  • Other duties as assigned;

Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise temporary labor staff as needed.

  • Culinary Arts Degree; Or

  • Advance Culinary knowledge to include sauce preparation, cooking methods/recipes, and kitchen equipment;
  • Food execution and to delegate production/preparation for events;
  • Strong attention to details and maintain a high level of quality on the production of products produced;

CONCESSIONS STAND MANAGER

Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, FL

POSITION: Concessions Stand Manager (P/T On-Call)

DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage Concessions

REPORTS TO: F&B Concessions Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Summary

SMG, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Concessions Stand Manager on a part-time on-call basis for SMG/Osceola Heritage Park.

SUMMARY

Oversee the concession stands and handle operations, issues and situations during an event; control inventory during events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

Verify the beginning and ending inventory counts in the concession stands;

Keeps track of incoming and outgoing inventory;

Ensure product is stocked and available to guest at all times;

Help enforce all SMG policies and procedures including alcohol policies;

Ensure that all paperwork is filled out properly;

Provide excellent customer service skills;

Assist with training new concession workers;

Other duties as assigned;

 QUALIFICATIONS

Able to work in a team environment;

Excellent people and customer service skills;

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions;

Ability to supervise other employees;

Sound decision maker and knows when to concur with management if needed;

Clean professional appearance, and ability to adhere to uniform policy;

 EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Previous supervisor or management experience within the Food & Beverage industry is a plus.

Must obtain and maintain an approved sanitation class that is required by the State;

Obtain Safe Staff training within 90 days of employment;

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to work in a fast past environment;

Must be able to stand for long periods of time;

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays if needed;

 WORKING ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS

Able to withstand loud concert type settings; weather conditions;

Ability to work indoor and outdoor events;

CASHIER

Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, FL

POSITION: Cashier (P/T On-Call)

DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage Concessions

REPORTS TO: Stand Manager/F&B Concessions Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Cashier on a part-time on-call basis for ASM Global/Osceola Heritage Park. The cashier will sell menu items at the concession stand, control waste and provide good customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow all policies and procedures of ASM Global;
  • Assist in the setup of the stand prior to event, (cooking pretzels, making hotdogs, etc.);
  • Verify starting bank with money manager and handle money in accordance with cashier money handling policy;
  • Keep track of all voids and over rings;
  • Take orders from customers; Check ID for alcohol sales and enforce alcohol policy;
  • Assist with keeping an accurate inventory count;
  • Balance revenue sheet after each event;
  • Help with post event break down, (cleaning, putting stock away, etc.);
  • Other duties as assigned;
