Osceola Heritage Park Gears Up to Host Mecum Auctions' Florida Summer Special, July 9–12
(KISSIMMEE, Fla. – July 7, 2025) – Osceola Heritage Park is proud to welcome the return of Mecum Auctions' Florida Summer Special, taking place July 9–12 for its sixth exciting year. This internationally recognized collector and classic car event will showcase an estimated 1,500 vehicles and approximately 100 pieces of Road Art®, making Osceola Heritage Park the epicenter of automotive action this summer.
A can't-miss destination for car enthusiasts, collectors, and thrill-seekers alike, our venue provides the perfect backdrop for Mecum's midyear showcase, featuring everything from iconic muscle cars and modern performance vehicles to sunny-day cruisers and beach-ready classics.
Among the showstoppers crossing the auction block are standout vehicles such as a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6, a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z, and a 1966 Ford Mustang Custom Fastback with a Supercharged Coyote Gen 3 engine. Modern powerhouses like a 2023 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170 Convertible and a low-mileage 2022 Ford Shelby GT-H Supercharged will also be on full display.
In true Florida style, the Summer Special offers up warm-weather rides including a 1978 Fiat Jolly Conversion, a 1969 Volkswagen Type II Bus, a rugged 1970 Ford Bronco Custom, and even a 1969 Meyers Manx Dune Buggy designed by Bruce Meyers himself.
Two impressive collections will also be featured at Osceola Heritage Park during the auction. The Schroeder Family Collection spans decades—from a 2020 Porsche Taycan 4S to a 1941 Ford Custom Street Rod—while the Bill and Barb Farwig Collection consists entirely of vintage Road Art® including neon signs, gas pumps, and Americana décor.
Adding to the excitement, ESPN+ will broadcast live coverage of the Florida Summer Special beginning at noon ET on Friday and Saturday, featuring Mecum's popular broadcast team alongside new analyst and automotive personality Rutledge Wood.
