Position: RUNNER
Reports to: Stand Manager/F&B Manager
FLSA status: Hourly, Part-Time Per Diem
SUMMARY
Primary duty is to assist the cashiers with filling orders for our customers, also cooking and preparing food in the concession stand.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Work as a team.
Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Assist the cashiers with filling orders for our customers.
Assist the stand manager in preparing product for sale in the concession stand.
(Pretzels, hotdogs, etc.) Stocking beverages, candy, chips etc.
Cleaning and maintaining counters and equipment.
Assist with controlling waste.
Assist with keeping an accurate inventory count.
Must obtain Safestaff training within 90 days of employment.
Follow all policies and procedures of SMG.
Other duties as assigned.

Position: Cashier

SUMMARY
Sell menu items at the concession stand as well as providing good customer satisfaction as well as controlling waste.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Assist in the set up of the stand prior to event, (cooking pretzels, making hotdogs etc.)
Taking orders from customers and ringing them in on registers.
Handling money in accordance with the policies of this company.
Keeping track of all voids and over rings.
Help with post event break down, (cleaning, putting stock away, etc.)
Checking ID for alcohol sales and enforcing alcohol policies.
Verifying starting bank with money manager.
Assist with keeping an accurate inventory count.
Balance revenue sheet after each event.
Provide excellent customer service.
Follow all policies and procedures of SMG.
Must obtain SafeStaff training within 90 days of employment.

Position: Banquet Server
Reports to: Banquet Manager
FLSA status: Hourly, Part-Time Per Diem
SUMMARY
To work both Banquet and Arena Functions within the Catering Department to include, Suite Attendant, Reception Events, Cart Service and any other function serving food and beverage items.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

SUMMARY
This position oversees all Banquet Functions to include, coffee breaks, buffet, plated and reception events and all functions serving any food & beverage items.

Job Title: Engineer
Department: Operations

FLSA Status: Full-Time - Hourly
Position Summary
Maintains in good working condition all facility equipment including electrical plants; lighting and climate control systems, HVAC, plumbing, roofing systems, telecommunications, and maintenance/cleaning equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repairs and maintains all facility systems and equipment
- Inspects systems throughout facility to detect malfunctions or breakdowns
- Investigates malfunctions or breakdowns of systems to diagnose causes and locate the source of the problem
- Implements corrective actions and solutions
- Anticipates potential malfunctions or breakdowns and takes appropriate action to prevent or minimize curtailment of services
- Operates auxiliary supply systems when a breakdown occurs
- Coordinates shutdown and start-ups of utilities when conditions require it
- Follows procedures for use of Work Orders and SMG Maintenance Manager systems
- Adheres to OSHA, NFPA and other applicable safety codes.
- Able to work with Cam lock Systems.
- Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
- Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps
- Perform business management duties such as maintaining records and files, preparing reports and ordering supplies and equipment
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
- Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
- Place conduit (pipes or tubing) inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes
- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit and moving and lifting heavy objects
- Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services
- Provide assistance during emergencies by operating floodlights and generators, placing flares, and driving needed vehicles
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited technical school
- Electrician License and 2+ year hands-on electrical experience
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment

Physical Demands
- Climbing staircases multiple times per day on event days.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and over
- Position requires physical ability to move about large facilities, including being on feet and walking for prolonged periods, bending, crouching, reaching, kneeling, crawl, grabbing and/or standing up to and over 8-10 hours daily
- Will work both indoors and outdoors as required by the function
- This position may need to perform work in high areas
- Must be able to operate equipment as required.
- Position requires being able to be exposed to high noise levels during concerts and other events
- Position requires working extended hours, flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays, based on event schedule
