Wait Staff (Part-Time)

Wait Staff Summary:  To work both Banquet and Restaurant Functions within the Catering Department to include, Suite Attendant, Reception Events, Cart Service and any other function serving food and beverage items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AMD RESPONSIBILITIES
Required to read, understand and continually follow the Savor Catering/Osceola Banquet Training Guide;
Obtain Safe Staff training within 90 days of employment.
Fulfill the service per each Banquet Event Order (BEO);
Assist with set up and organization of catered event;
Serve food and beverage at events; provide excellent customer service;
Must be able to adhere to and enforce all policies and procedures of the company including alcohol and uniform policy;
Attention to detail and consistency in every aspect of service is a must;
Assist with break down and cleanup of catered event;
Maintain all Banquet equipment cleanliness;
Hands-on with all aspects of the Banquet Server duties;
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Some knowledge of the food and beverage industry is a plus;
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks;
Ability to work independently or as a team;
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions;
Fluency in English both verbal and written; bilingual a plus;
Excellent communication and people person skills;
Clean professional appearance;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

STAND MANAGER  (Part-Time)

SUMMARY
Oversee the concession stands and handle operations, issues and situations during an event; control inventory during events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Verify the beginning and ending inventory counts in the concession stands;
Keeps track of incoming and outgoing inventory;
Ensure product is stocked and available to guest at all times;
Help enforce all SMG policies and procedures including alcohol policies;
Ensure that all paperwork is filled out properly;
Provide excellent customer service skills;
Assist with training new concession workers;
Other duties as assigned;

QUALIFICATIONS
Able to work in a team environment;
Excellent people and customer service skills;
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions;
Ability to supervise other employees;
Sound decision maker and knows when to concur with management if needed;
Clean professional appearance, and ability to adhere to uniform policy;

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Previous supervisor or management experience within the Food & Beverage industry is a plus.
Must obtain and maintain an approved sanitation class that is required by the State;
Obtain Safe Staff training within 90 days of employment;

Must be able to stand for long periods of time;
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays if needed;

FOOD & BEVERAGE WAREHOUSE (Part-Time)

SUMMARY
Provides support to the F&B Dept. by maintaining inventory levels and stocking stands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
Prepare product requisition forms for deliveries and transfers;
Help receive deliveries;
Able to use stock sheets;
Assist with keeping accurate inventory records;
Assist in pre event set-up and post event breakdown;
Transfer product before, during, and after events;
Follow all policies and procedures of SMG including adhering to uniform policy;
Other duties as assigned;

QUALIFICATIONS
Good customer service skills;
Clean professional appearance;
Ability to work in a fast paced team environment or independently;
Ability to follow written and verbal directions with minimum supervision
Ability to work flexible hours (days, nights, weekends, and possibly holidays)

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Food and Beverage industry experience;
Warehouse experience desired, but not required;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift repetitively up to 150 pounds;
Ability to move about, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time;

WORKING ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS
Ability to work indoors and outdoors as required by event;
Ability to withstand high noise levels during concerts and other events;

Cook/Stewarding (Entry Level)                                                             

The Cook/Stewarding will work in the main kitchen and in concessions preparing food items for the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely and under the direction of Cook I and Cook II Culinary staff;
Maintain a clean working area throughout your assigned shift;
Hands on with all aspects of cleaning duties within the Culinary Operations;
Ability to set up and break down stations for catered events;
Maintain dish area;
Ability to perform light culinary work as needed;
Complete assigned duties in a timely matter;

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:                                                    
Ability to work in a team environment within the Culinary Operation;
Ability to follow directions, complete multiple tasks while maintain a positive attitude;
Ability to be creative with buffet food presentations and maintain a quality product;
Attention to detail.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:                                           
Supervise temporary stewarding labor staff as needed.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:                                                      
High School Diploma;
At least one year experience in a large multi-functional food & beverage operation;

COOK I (Part-Time)

Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the entire Culinary Operation;

SKILLS AND ABILITIES                                                     
Must have a “yes we can” attitude/approach;
Advance Culinary knowledge to include sauce preparation, cooking methods/recipes, and kitchen equipment;
Food execution and to delegate production/preparation for events;
Strong attention to details and maintain a high level of quality on the production of products produced;

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES                                            
Supervise temporary labor staff as needed

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE                                           
Culinary Arts Degree or 3 plus years’ experience in multi-purpose, high volume Catering Operation.

OPERATIONS (Part-Time Regular)

SUMMARY          
Change over the facility for events and maintain cleanliness of buildings and grounds.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Event set-up and changeover to include moving, arranging, assembly and disassembly, setting and removal of items needed;
Equestrians event set up and changeover may include assembly and disassembly of animal penning;
General cleaning and up keep of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows; cleaning toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, arena seats, and trash cans. 

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 
High school diploma or equivalent;
Must be able to speak, read, and write English;
Previous event set-up and custodial experience preferred;
Forklift Certification or ability to acquire certification within 30 days of employment;
Experience with Aerial Lifts;
Ability to work independently or in a team environment;
Ability to work flexible hours based on events, including daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays, as needed;

COMPUTER SKILLS                                                        
Experience using Microsoft Outlook;

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
