Catering Supervisor

SUMMARY

The Catering Supervisor will work in conjunction with the Banquet Manager and Catering Sales Manager in both Banquet and Arena Functions within the Catering Department to include, but not limited to, Suite Attendant, Banquets, Meetings, Bars, Heritage Club events, and any other functions serving any food and beverage items.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the training of new employees.
  • Oversee and direct staff for Catering and other events as directed.
  • Assist with enforcing SMG/OHP policies and procedures including alcohol policies.
  • Serve as liaison with clients.
  • Fulfill the service per each Banquet Event Order (BEO).
  • Prep set up and organization of Catered Event; Prep breaks down and cleanup of Catered Event.
  • Creativity in designing buffet presentations and coffee break décor.
  • Continuously improve the overall look and appearance of buffets.
  • Maintain a line of communication with the Banquet Manager.
  • Manage banquets in the absence of Banquet Manager/F&B Operations Manager.
  • Assist Banquet Manager with maintaining accurate labor for an event.
  • Follow and maintain all cost guidelines for labor, beverage & food.
  • Maintain all Banquet equipment cleanliness on a daily basis.
  • Attend Weekly F&B Department Meetings and Menu Meetings.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1 to 2 years experience supervising other employees in the food service industry.
  • ServSafe and TIPS Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Event set-up and changeover to include moving, arranging, assembly and disassembly, setting and removal of items needed.
•    Equestrians event set up and changeover may include assembly and disassembly of animal penning.
•    General cleaning and upkeep of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing windows; cleaning toilets, urinals, mirrors, walls, arena seats, and trash cans.

SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Assist the Box Office Manager with all box office functions.
•    Manage the box office when the Box Office Manager is out and for smaller events. 
•    Communicate effectively and positively with promoters, facility personnel, ticketing company, suite holders, and patrons as needed. Solve problems and provide excellent customer service.  
•    Assist the Box Office Manager with building and modifying all ticketed events. Maintain accurate inventory of all tickets distributed and available for sale. 
•    Monitor daily ticket sales for all upcoming events and communicate information to facility management and promoters as needed.
•    With box office manager, manage box office cash, document all vault transactions, and make deposits. 
•    With the box office manager, maintain files for each event including holds, comp tickets, audits, etc.

•    Sells tickets as needed.

•    Track the progress of all County purchases for OHP, notify the County and end users when items are received or if orders are delayed. 
•    Establish & lead regular internal meetings with department heads and others as needed regarding the progress of capital purchases.
•    Attend quarterly meetings with the County regarding purchases. Prepare for the meetings, document the discussions, and follow up as needed. 
•    Serve as internal custodian for capital items. Manage the annual capital inventory process, documenting the existence and location of every capital item. Oversee assistance from team members. SUMMARY

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a PT On Call- Cashier at Osceola Heritage Park. The cashier sells menu items at the concession stand, controls waste, and provides good customer satisfaction.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

  • Follow all policies and procedures of ASM Global.
  • Assist in the setup of the stand prior to the event, (cooking pretzels, making hotdogs, etc.).
  • Verify starting bank with money manager and handle money in accordance with cashier money handling policy.
  • Keep track of all voids and over rings.
  • Take orders from customers; Check ID for alcohol sales and enforce alcohol policy.
  • Assist with keeping an accurate inventory count.
  • Balance revenue sheet after each event.

SUMMARY

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent opportunity for part-time Event Staff at Osceola Heritage Park, Kissimmee, Florida.  The Event Staff is responsible for directing patrons to their seats for shows or events by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and responding promptly to customer needs and requests for service and assistance. The successful candidate must be able to work independently handle most questions without assistance, and efficiently and courteously answer questions concerning pricing, seating, events, facility layouts, and amenities.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Greet each guest with a smile and encourage them to enjoy their visit to our facilities.
•    Listen attentively to patrons' questions, concerns, or suggestions and be prepared to answer their questions.
•    Inspect your assigned areas for any safety hazards or seating irregularities prior to opening the doors; report any problems to the Event Manager on duty.
•    Knowledge of the locations of the nearest restrooms, drinking fountains, smoking sections, and concession stands.
•    Face the incoming patrons (not the floor) while standing at the top of your section or in the center of your passageway.
•    Constantly scan the seating areas for any unusual happenings.
•    Scan your assigned area for cans, bottles, and any alcohol-related problems.
•    Be alert for any objects being thrown from the seating areas and from areas above your area.
•    Watch for seat jumpers to protect the integrity of the tickets.
•    Prevent patrons and vendors from blocking walkways and aisles.
•    Advise patrons who are smoking that it is prohibited in the seating areas and direct them to the designated smoking areas outside.
•    Direct and control the exiting of Patrons in the event of an emergency evacuation.
•    Report any incidents to the Event Manager on Duty.
•    Report any medical emergencies to a Manager on Duty; assist in completing an incident report, if necessary.
•    Thank patrons for attending the event and conduct a thorough search of your assigned area for any items left behind.

SUMMARY

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an excellent and immediate opening for a Cook II.  The Cook II will work in all aspects of the Culinary Operations including off-premises locations under the leadership of the management team.
