JEHOVAHS WITNESSES WATCHTOWER CONVENTION RETURNS TO SILVER SPURS ARENA
For the fifth straight year the Christian Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses Watchtower Convention will meet at the Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park during weekends throughout the summer.
Delegates throughout Florida and the southeast will gather each weekend at Silver Spurs Arena starting this Friday, July 18th through Sunday, August 31st. As many as 8,000 members of the congregation are expected to attend each of the weekend sessions that run Friday through Sunday. The theme for the 2008 convention is “Guided by God’s Spirit.” The program will focus on why reliable guidance is needed today and where people can turn for trustworthy advice in all aspects of life.
“We are extremely happy that the Watchtower Convention is returning to Silver Spurs Arena for the fifth consecutive year. With members attending throughout Florida and surrounding states, the convention will bring great economic impact to the community,” said Robb Larson, General Manager of Osceola Heritage Park.
