SILVER SPURS TO HOST NBHA STATE FINALS

More than a thousand competitors, eight-hundred sixty-four horse stalls and three barrels will all be in action during this weekend’s National Barrel Horse Associations State Finals June 12-15 at the Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park.

When asked why the NBHA keeps returning to the Silver Spurs Arena for its State Finals, Linda Jones, NBHA Florida State Director said for the cold air condition, beautiful facility and great hospitable town.

This is the fifth year the Spurs has hosted the NBHA.  “We’re excited about their return,” says Clay Tyson, Silver Spurs Big Boss.  “This event is fast pace and exciting to watch.  We’re also glad to spur some economic income to the area with the large amount of competitors, family, friends and spectators.”

Barrel racing fans and spectators are encouraged to not only enjoy the sights of the competition, but there’s great shopping as well.  Over 50 vendors will be on hand displaying great merchandise to include everything from western furniture, clothing, jewelry and much more. The event runs from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm daily and admission is free.
