THE THEATER AT SILVER SPURS ARENA GOES BONKERZ WITH COUNTRY FRIED CHICKS

The Theater at Silver Spurs Arena in conjunction with Bonkerz Comedy Club are proud to announce the first comedy show of a series of three presenting the Country Fried Chicks on Friday October 16th at 8 p.m.

The famous Country Fried Chicks, featuring Sonya White and Karen Mills, are sugar coated, honey glazed hams and the stars of CMT’s “Southern Fried Chicks.”

Sonya White (CMT, HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central) serves her funny stand-up routine with northern flavor and a southern accent.  Her observational comedy is enhanced by dead on impersonations and appropriate sound effects.  Her comedy is based on real life experiences and her fond, but irreverent interactions with friends, family and the world at large.

Karen Mills (CMT, Comedy Central) is a breath of fresh air.  Her humor is smart, funny, and original.  No one can help you "get your laugh on" better than she can.  She's been compared to such greats as Bill Cosby, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jerry Seinfeld.  Her comedy is clean, clever and relatable.  A native of Tennessee, this southern girl makes one thing clear, "I am NOT a southern belle, unless I need to be."

BONKERZ based out of Orlando, FL is one of America’s longest running comedy clubs and has locations scattered throughout the entire U.S.A.  They have been providing hilarious stand-up comedy shows for over three decades!  Their comedy clubs have been the site for national TV specials on SHOWTIME, COMEDY CENTRAL, MTV, FOX, and AMERICA'S FUNNIEST PEOPLE!

The Theater at Silver Spurs Arena will provide an intimate table setting with service featuring beer, wine, liquor and light snacks for this event.  General admission seats are $15, plus buy two shows of the series and get the third show free.  Must be 18 or older.  All dates, acts and tickets prices are subject to change without notice.
